Tire Rotations
The most common tire service, these are vital to maximizing the life of your set of tires on your Volvo. Generally, we advise that you have your tires rotated every 5,000 to 6,000 miles. What this does is evenly distributes tire wear across your set, so the treads last longer and are safer on the road. Once tires lose too much tread, they are no longer safe on roads as they'll lack the necessary grip needed for all conditions.
If you've been up to date on your tire rotations, but aren't sure when your tires should be replaced, we can help. The right level of tire tread can be checked by us, but you can also check easily too. If you use a penny and place it head first down into the treads, you'll be able to determine if you need new tires. If the head of the penny is covered by the treads you're in good shape, but if you can see most or all of the top of the head, it means your tires should be changed over and we can assist you in buying a new set.
